Chiropractic Care

Torque Release Technique is a highly scientific chiropractic approach to spinal and whole-person health. It utilizes an analysis to determine the highest priority place your body needs to be adjusted and allows the doctor to objectively tell where, when, and when not to adjust. The adjustment is given either by hand or with a tool called the IntegratorTM that produces a gentle, quick impulse into the body. The point of the adjustment, simply put, is to get things moving again that weren't moving appropriately.

Research into biomechanics has shown that either trauma or stress or a combination of both can cause movement problems in the spine and, as a result, in your whole body. This can lead to a change in the way you move and feel. Each restriction leads to inflammation, nerve interference (basically turning down the volume of the brain signals to your body), muscle tightness, secondary compensations, and oftentimes symptoms. Those compensations are often the most painful because what you see in any system is that each compensation has to be bigger than the issue that caused it in order to bring that system back to balance. It is estimated that for each primary restriction or subluxation in your body that there are around 9 compensations in the spine. Torque Release helps the doctor be able to differentiate between primary and secondary issues in the spine and resolve that most important problem. When the primary subluxation is removed, the body releases the compensations and the associated issues go away.

The chiropractic adjustment is always tailored to the individual patient and is safe for children, infants, and pregnant women as well as the general population. Torque release adjustments are even more gentle than most chiropractic adjustments, and when combined with the objective analysis, makes them ideal for children, infants, sensitive patients, or those who have concerns about getting adjusted, but especially those for whom traditional chiropractic care was not effective.
